On 20th of October we gathered as an area on Zoom to pray together. We saw over 30 people join from various Churches in Stepney.
The evening was led by our interns from St Faith house where we experienced a time of worship, with music from SPS Church and the St Leonards Shoreditch choir.
We heard an inspiring Testimony from Raff Chaves where he shared his story of becoming an ordinand at All Hallows Bow and told us about the Ahaba Café which the Church recently opened.
The team at St Faiths, led us into three different breakout rooms where we had the opportunity to pray for our area and the world as a community.
We are so excited to announce that we will have another opportunity to pray on the 15th of December. We would love to invite you and encourage you to extend this invitation to a friend.
Stepney at Prayer is a unique occasion to pray as an area, for the future of Stepney. It also makes room for us to enjoy each other’s company in this tough season.
Though we are one area, we are spread across Tower Hamlets, Islington, and Hackney. So, it is no surprise we can sometimes feel disconnected from one another.
Therefore, our hope is that by meeting together on these special evenings, we can make room for the Holy Spirit to fill those gaps through our worship, prayer, and fellowship.
