Please could we ask all churches to complete your Energy Footprint Tool (EFT) in the Parish Returns. The deadline is July 31st (for data from 2022).
We as a Diocese, and the CofE nationally, have committed to becoming “Net Zero Carbon” (NZC) by 2030. As we speak, a diocesan NZC Action Plan is being developed by a task group of stakeholders from across the Diocese to help us achieve this goal. The Energy Footprint Tool provides data from each and every church and church hall, and it is absolutely crucial that we have good data to work from so we can be realistic about the task ahead.
