November 4 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm£20
Everywhere I look, not just now, but for many years, we have been trying to work out what discipleship looks like in today’s church. It’s a wrestle for spiritual health at a personal and church community level and it has never been more important. At the Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) we feel this acutely because healthy church planting must be undergirded by healthy disciple-making.
So I’m excited to invite you to the DiscipleShift Conference in London on Friday 4th November, 10am-4pm. We are hosting this conference with Exponential – ‘a community with a vision to see multiplication become the norm in the Church in Europe’. We are aiming to draw together church leaders and teams of all denominations who want to develop their thinking and practice of discipleship.
This is set to be a kind of work-in-practice, equipping day, reflecting on the discipleship shifts needed to see disciple-making embedded in the local church. I would love to see you there and for you to invite anyone you know in your networks who has a passion for discipleship that will benefit from this gathering.
We’ll be hearing from a range of speakers including Dave Ferguson, the founder and pastor of Chicago Community Christian Church, and Øystein Gjerme, founder and leader of Salt Church Bergen and leader of the National Church Planting Process interdenominationally in Norway, as well as a number of local London ministers. This is a chance to learn, reflect, connect, and work on how we might implement what we are hearing.
Taking place at St Edmund the King for £20 per person, it would be great to have you and your team there. You can find out more and book a ticket here.
