Hackney Night Shelter Sponsored Sleep Out 2023

On 20th October we will be gathering together at St John at Jerusalem, Churchyard, Lauriston Road, E9 7DH as a community, sleeping out to raise vital funds to help support people experiencing street homelessness in London.

So far this year, Hackney Night Shelter has provided emergency shelter for 87 homeless people and supported 54 to move into their own accommodation.  hey receive no government funding for this work but hope to raise £30,000 from this sponsored sleep out, so they can help more people.  If you would like to make a donation, you can do so via their Just Giving page.

Do consider joining, there will be a lot of people there so its no dangerous or anything like the real experience which too many people have to endure.
